Where in California do the biggest yachts dock?
I’m doing research on affluent lifestyles, and would like to know which Californian marinas take in the biggest yachts, and which yacht clubs are the most exclusive. Any insights would be most appreciated.
The Mega-Yachts are mostly in Newport Beach, San Diego, Sausalito, Monterey and San Francisco.
Clubs for the Bay Area include, San Francisco, Sausalito, Alameda, San Leandro, Berkeley and many others
The San Francisco Golden Gate Yacht Club currently has the "America’s Cup" and will be hosting the next America’s Cup Race. This is a VERY Exclusive yachting club to start with. Larry Ellison the owner of Oracle is a member there along with many WEALTHY members of the SF Bay Area.
There are yacht clubs all around the San Francisco bay area, in Berkeley, San Francisco, Belvedere, Sausalito, San Rafael, Alameda are just a few that I can think of.
